Parade of Sail
The Mahone Bay Classic Boat Festival opens with the Parade of Sail departing Mader's Cove. The boats, led by the Dedication Boat with a bagpiper at the bow and Mahone Bay and Festival officials on board, will proceed up the harbour to the town wharf.
Watch the Parade of Sail from the wharf, or anywhere along the road from Mader's Cove to the Festival grounds. Then follow the bagpiper led procession to the Entertainment Tent for the official opening ceremonies.
If you have a boat of any type, we invite you to join in the Parade of Sail. Simply show up at Mader's Cove.
